Loneliness hurts. Rejection hurts. Losing someone hurts. Envy hurts.
Everyone gets these things confused with love.
But in reality, love is the only thing in this world that covers up all pain & makes someone feel wonderful again.” —
in my opinion…
we should put asterisks at the end of every sarcastic remark we make when we text, post, tweet, blog, message, e-mail on our technological devices so all sorts of misunderstandings could be avoided.
because honestly, i just can’t tell anymore.
Isn’t it funny how one person can make you feel so good?
Without any words, just the way he looks at you
Makes you smile for months (with no particular reason),
Makes you day-dream (on a regular basis),
Makes you laugh (even when the joke is not funny),
Makes you forget all your troubles (and find everything perfect).
Mind those pointy arrows the chubby (for you-adorable)
Winged-baby insists on aiming (and shooting) at you.
He simply makes you so happy…
One moment, somewhere along the way, you wake up.
Without any words, just the way he looks at you
Makes you cry for months (with no particular reason),
Haunts you in your sleep (at night, when you think you’re safe),
Makes you angry (even when the comment is not insulting),
Makes you forget all your joys (and find everything depressing).
Mind those apathetic looks, the sarcastic (for you-stupid)
Tall guy insists on aiming (and shooting) at you.
He so simply makes you miserable…
Isn’t it funny how one person can make you feel so sad?

Girl likes boy. Boy likes her. On her way out of school one day, the girl comes around the corner and watches in horror as she sees her crush two inches away from another girl’s face.
The boy turns and looks at her. The girl runs away, angry and hurt.
The boy runs after her. The girl runs outside after the girl, and he sees her drop her schoolbooks on the asphalt. It’s pouring rain outside, but the boy walks out after her anyways. She looks up at him, some of her books in her hand, others still scattered on the ground.
G: “What do you want?”
B: “Why did you run away?”
The girl doesn’t look at him.
B: “Look at me.”
She looks.
B: “What did you think I was doing?”
G: [throws her books down and glares at him.] “You were two inches from her face.”
The boy is very quiet.
G:”What am I supposed to think? I mean, I guess I shouldn’t think anything at all. I’m not yours. I have no claim over you.”
He is still very quiet, and for a while they just stare at each other, standing in the rain.
G:”I don’t blame you though. She’s smart. She’s funny. She’s pretty. Everything I’m not.”
The boy walks towards her, stopping directly in front of the girl.
B: “You’re right.”
The girl’s mouth drops open, and she turns around, ready to walk away. But she hears the boy’s voice from behind her.
B: “You’re not smart. You’re brilliant.”
The girl turns around.
B: “And you’re not funny, either. You’re hilarious.”
They are very close together now. She can feel his breath on her neck.
B: “And you’re not pretty. You’re beautiful.”
